So very cold this morning. Twelve degrees and very windy

Blinding, but beautiful sunrise here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. A good time to stay indoors and watch the birds through the window.

This was the spectacular sight as I went out to get the morning newspaper.
